The product is a highly effective treatment against all the common species of tapeworms infecting dogs and cats in the United Kingdom and Ireland including Echinococcus granulosus, Taenia multiceps, Taenia hydatigena, Taenia ovis, Taenia pisiformis, Taenia taeniaeformis and Dipylidium caninum. Droncit is also effective against Echinococcus multilocularis.

Review: Well priced brand doggy tablets. - Not much to say, it's wormer for dogs, but the price is on par to pet websites, but then they'll charge delivery if you don't spend a certain amountso best to get them from here. My dog has to have 2.5 every two months as a preventative as he's 25kg. I just put it in his food and he eats them. No side effects so all well and good.

**Q: Does it have a strong smell?**
A: At first, yes, but it does ease off after a few days.

**Q: It doesn’t cover roundworms so do I need to find another product for that?**
A: Yes or a product that does the whole lot . I use advocate flea and tick product from the vet on my dogs it also covers most worms apart from tapeworm which is why I use this product every six months as it is only for tapeworm and not a complete all round wormer
