Over the years, I have tried several products that provide lumbar support while sitting at my desk and in the car to alleviate some of the lower back pain & stiffening. Most of the pillow, wire mesh, etc. supports I have tried work OK to provide support and relief, but they wear out or provide less support after a few months of regular use. When a friend of mine recommended trying the Backboard product, I expected it to work for awhile, but wear out after a few months of regular use. I put the product in my Jeep Wrangler this summer where it received an enormous amount of use & abuse with my repeated in/out, bouncing around off-road, etc. However, after ~6 months of regular use in my Jeep (see photo), this thing is still providing the same level of support it did when I first purchased it - awesome!The board is also customizable to the level of curve/support you want to give your back. Some products I’ve used in the past impose too much curve to the back support and ended up hurting my back more than helping it.
