Gu (underside) hole: Yes Link/s to video/s: https://youtu.be/WiKogYnWSPQ (GREY1) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HiOKspuFX1g (GREY2) Description: The 7 Note Handpan in G Minor is the smallest and lightest handpan on offer, and for this reason, probably has closest resemblance of all handpans to a Tongue Drum, without sacrificing the original tones, notes and body shape of an original handpan. Despite only being 3cm smaller in diameter than its handpan brothers, the compact size makes it a lot more efficient to carry, both in and outside of the case. The 7 Note Handpan has incredible resonance thanks to its original height of 24cm and the same sized Gu hole of 9 cm. Although limited to 7 Notes only, this is plenty for enjoyable improvisation sessions, especially with its particular scale. Tuning aspects: The G Minor Pentatonic in the Phrygian scale is actually a very intriguing one since it resembles more that of the Klezmer scale, a scale with a relationship with traditional Hungarian and Gypsy music. The gypsy-like scale really brings the performance to life and really allures to feelings of being outside, with nature and out on some kind of journey. Please don't hesitate to contact us!
