The water is very boiling, we slowly put each handful of BOBA2U into the pot, 1 minute after stirring gently, and when we see all of them floating on the surface If the water surface and change transparent color, turn off the heat, put the lid on the pot for 2-3 hours, then pour BABO2U into a basket to remove the water, then use drinking water to rinse briefly and then put in a bowl, for one less sugar . It's SO MUCH tapioca for the price, but it's 30 minutes to boil, and 20 minutes to stew( they didn't add that last part and now I'm stuck with 6lbs. of it). The product cooks evenly but does not have very large pearls. After I finished cooking it, I was left with a pan of sticky syrupy "maple sauce" that you rinse out of the pearls before using, and it took quite a while to clean out of the pan and off of the straining spoon. It's too much hassle and time if you want to make just a few servings of bubble tea. For soup, or perhaps for pudding this might be a terrific product for the price. I never had a problem with the pricey quick pearls; they're just more expensive.
