The top is well made and from what we can see extremely durable.While being deep and spacious, the radiused cut out at the front enables much improved reach and usability. The only difficulty in assembling (by myself) was assuring that I was square with the base. I ended up using some painters tape to mark the attachment points and it saved a great deal of measure/adjust/measure again... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect and super high quality! *by I***S on Reviewed in the United States on March 3, 2018* I mounted this on the front wall in my airstream, it is a dream boat. I even had to cut two inches off the back so I know the wood is legit. I refinished with some carpenters glue to seal it. Mounted with some folding supports to the frame, boom dual monitor gaming desk in an airstream! Bought along side the Ergopose "ePo" Standing Electric Desk Frame. Arrived with one small dent in the underside of the wood, which I couldn't find after assembly, but makes me worried about the long term sturdiness. Bamboo is just soft enough that I was able to attach to the base with wood screws and a hand screwdriver, no pre-drilling.
