I normally wear small in jackets and a medium in dresses but since I wasn’t sure with this I ordered a medium and it was perfect! A small would have fit but would have looked more like a bodysuit. So just depends on how much give you want in the fabric. It is not compressive so a smaller size won’t feel suffocating. It almost feels as light as a windbreaker but a stretchy windbreaker. The material is matte and not shiny, although photos do seem to look shiny, it is not that way in person. I think the shiny fabrics look cheap and this jacket didn’t look cheap. I have other more expensive brands and I would still buy a couple of these. I’m happy with it. I bought this one when it’s $20, but I do see that is the sale price and the normal price is $42.
