For use with in-ground and above-ground pools, this hose comes complete with two adapters: (1) adapter specifically made for use with Intex pools - 40mm to 1.25" - 1.5" diameters, and (1) adapter that can be used for both in-ground and above-ground style pools - 1.25" - 1.5" diameter. Made from a proprietary material blend, it is crush proof and designed to withstand against UV rays, chemicals, and holds up to all weather extremes. The spiral-wound construction is designed for strength, flexibility, and maximum water flow. The swivel cuff is leak-proof, preventing air from entering / exiting the system and maintains a strong vacuum suction while staying afloat for ease of use. The swivel cuff connects directly to the vacuum head for kink-free maneuverability.   Set contains a 35' x 1.5" vacuum hose with 2 adapters for use with above-ground and in-ground pools  Designed with a proprietary blended material that provides a crush proof hose that is UV, chemical, and weather-resistant  Features one swivel cuff that attaches to the vacuum head for kink-free maneuvering (NOT made for use with automatic cleaners)  The spiral-wound design provides bend and flexibility without cracking or breaking over time  Both cuffs are leak-proof and will prevent air from coming into the hose, maximizing the suction power of the vacuum  Pool vacuum hose for use with telescopic pool pole and vacuum head (sold separately)  TIPS: For proper suction and maximum performance, it is essential to prime the hose by filling entirely with water before use. To do this, hold the hose under the water until the hose starts to sink to the bottom of the pool. Hose works best when warm to maximize flexibility. The SWIVEL CUFF end connects directly onto the VACUUM HEAD and the non-swivel end connects to the skimmer
