**Q: Are these oil-based?**
A: I don't think so. Product does not specify. They can be erased.

**Q: Can these be sprayed with a sealant after the artwork is finished?**
A: Yes you can spray them with a fixative that is safe for pastels.  There are also workable fixatives that can also be used.

**Q: Can panpastels be used on 110 lb card stock?**
A: As long as it is primed before and sealed afterwards.

**Q: Does the palette tray have a cover?**
A: Hi yes the skin tone palette dose have a cover.

Lovely colours, great for artists. I’ve bought them before individually but this pack had all of the necessary colours for darkening some of the brown tones and adding pops of pink to the noses of my pet portraits. Though a little expensive, they are the best quality pastels I’ve ever owned and I love working with them. Quite easy to remove if you make a mistake so long as you don’t press them down too hard. (I use a kneadable rubber to erase them) The image I have attached has a mixture of said pan pastels and acrylic. The pan pastel white is not bright enough to use over white paper (not really a surprise) so I always add a splash of white acrylic to get my very bright white tones.
