It arrived very promptly and it looked great . It was well packaged and had a look of good quality.Unfortunately on 11th January the winding mechanism broke ! Instead of the usual clicking sensation as the winding knob was turned it just spun around without priming the internal spring, meaning that when it stopped it was impossible to wind up again , and was therefore useless. After paying just over £119.00 with p&p I was obviously gutted for it to brake 26 days later !!With hindsight I think I should have been a bit more sceptical of a wind up watch, after all how many times can a mechanism that needs winding ( just before 36 hours expire to prevent the watch stopping ) be hand turned before metal fatigue occurs or springs under tension wear out ? However I think most people would expect a few years trouble free use, certainly not under a month.I have returned it to Amazon and am awaiting a full refund. It's such a shame because I really liked the look and style of the watch, but ultimately no matter how good it looks on your wrist if it's not reliable and the hands don't move, then it's a much use as mud flaps on a tortoise !Such a shame because I genuinely liked it and had high hopes , but in future I'll go back to more reliable battery power and consign wind up movement's to history. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Can't fault it it's beautifully made and comes in a lovely gift box *by A***R on 29 November 2017* Can't fault it it's beautifully made and comes in a lovely gift box.
