Review: miraculous difference to cat with CKD - Ipakitine was suggested by vet to help cat with CKD, and proved remarkably effective in reducing creatinine levels. Vet was very surprised at the degree of improvement in blood test results: in 3 months creatinine dropped from high 500s to ±300, and was sustained until the end. I am sure it extended our cat's life by many months, possibly even more than a year. Most important though was the improvement to her quality of life, because it enabled her to come off the 'renal diet ' she clearly hated, and enjoy real food again; we kept her off junk food (like whiskers or Felix), but she was able to continue eating real food (like Thrive and Blink), without the protein making her kidneys worse. As a result, she was happy and gained back more than half the weight she'd lost. When she did go, it wasn't from kidney disease. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - BUT DO DISCUSS WITH VET FIRST

**Q: The product description (in both technical and additional sections) have conflicting + incorrect info, as does the picture regarding weight and date.**
A: I have also found the description confusing. However, the key thing is the weight, which has always been delivered correctly - just make sure it’s what you want on the description title. The content itself is a food supplement rather than a prescription drug, so not much that can go wrong there.  I’ve found it made a big difference for our cat who had poor kidney function.

**Q: How do you measure 1g of Ipakitine**
A: There should be a tiny plastic spoon in the tub which gives you the measurement? Sometimes it's hidden in the powder, give the tub a shake.

**Q: What weight is being sold? Advertisement says 180g, picture shows 150h and description says dhipping 118g**
A: 180g

**Q: is there a tablet form of ipakitine**
A: I don’t think so
