I had been looking for 250 watt replacements but these work fine, just using them full on. One hint . . . when shopping for replacements for halogen bulbs, they can be selected by length, the power rating just doesn't show on the old bulbs. And, of course, the half-round heat shield isn't needed.I added a question saying the same lamps were on sale at Amazon for $5.00 less. That was wrong, the cheaper items are NOT DIMMABLE. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Entirely happy with the color, heat, and efficiency *by D***E on Reviewed in the United States on January 9, 2018* These replaced 150W halogens. Much less bright, but work fine to light up our yard to see the sidewalk without looking like a car lot. In the pics, my meter shows 2 watts each, but both together said 6 so I expect there’s a rounding error, but also that they’re even less than 5 each, as other 10w bulbs read 10 on it. Comparing one fixture to the other, they felt exactly the same temperature after an hour of one on and one turned off. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Whoever said these put out low light is up in the night! *by F***F on Reviewed in the United States on April 18, 2019* These 100 W equivalent LEDs are way brighter than the 100W halogen bulbs they replaced. I took manual f-stop and exposure mode pictures of my rooms before I put the new LED bulbs in, anticipating from other's reviews, that our rooms might be darker. I put the bulbs in, and didn't even need to take pictures, they were so bright! My kids complain all the time now, "Can we turn off the overhead lights? It's too bright!" Good product!
