The elastic doesn’t constrict and give you a headache like some caps do. I wear a 7 3/4 fitted and the XXL was too big. Loose. Haaa! Never had that happen before! Great hat! But if you’re used to hats pinching your head, the typical one size fits most SMS and L/XL’s, feel free to trust these sizes. XL is probably OK all the way to 8… imo. Anything less go w XL. Can’t comment below XL though. Sorry!
