**Q: What is the difference between vinyl and neoprene? Why one or the other? Thank you.**
A: I purchased the vinyl ones after I had a pair of the neoprene. First, I actually had one of my neoprene weights split in half. Couldn't believe it. Second, the neoprene smell awful, leaving your hands with the same smell. Third, the grip on the vinyl weights is so much better. No fear of slipping with these. They are the best weights I've owned!  Hope this helps.

**Q: So, will I receive 1 or 2 dumbbells per order? I'm confused reading all the comments. Thanks!**
A: you will receive 2 dumbbells. I ordered 5 different weight dumbbells and received 5 pairs as ordered. Its a very nicely made product.

**Q: It says set of 2. If I order 20 lb weights will I get two 20 lb weights or 2 ten lb weights**
A: Here's what I ordered:  SPRI Deluxe Vinyl Dumbbells (Pink, 1-Pound, Set of 2) and they are 1 lb. EACH.  (there's a small number on the end of each weight that says 'SPRI 1')  That's all I know.

**Q: I have very small hands; the 7 pound spri handhold is great.  how much "fatter" is the 10 lb's handhold?**
A: Note that the 12lb circumference is slightly larger than I find comfortable - I am a woman with slightly smaller than average hands

I have the 15# SPRI dumbells and wanted to increase them to 20#. I really like the thicker hand grips (covered in vinyl) which are much more comfortable than the ones with thinner metal grips.Excellent quality and design. I bought these "used" on Amazon (they appeared new - how do you wear out a dumbell?), so I saved almost 50%.A great value and a great product.
