We wanted a system where I could access any song on the internet as well as use the GCDs we already had and We wanted wireless microphones without compromising on sound quality. So we called Jack at Mr Entertainer and he listened and came up with a brilliant solution. Honestly- best customer service ever. We chat over phone and WhatsApp and he stays with the customer every step from choosing, ordering, delivery, installation and making sure the customer is completely happy with the product- always there to help with trouble shooting potential and technical help. You can basically find all the karaoke favourites on You Tube so I created playlists and we have had so much fun. The item is sleek, tidy and produces great sound at a decent volume. It uses blue tooth or wires but we have it wired up. The other product was the Mr Entertainer MKP100 CDG DVD MP3G Karaoke Machine Player. HDMI/Record/Rip/USB https://amzn.to/3Cf50Y4 This can be used as a DVD player as well as a karaoke machine as it plays DVDs as well as GCDs and we actually needed a new dvd player so this was a win win. There are different options with this karaoke machine- you can get it with song bundles and wireless microphones, but we went for the most basic with no songs and wired microphones as we knew we would only be using this for the GCDs and DVDs as the Starbar is better sound quality but this is good too. The great thing is we can use both products together. They are really sleek, neat and easy to set up. So we can use the Starbar on its own to access unlimited online songs or with the MPK100 to use our old GCDs. Sound quality and volume are great and Mr Entertainer Jack could not be more helpful. This makes great presents for anyone. Really great purchase and very happy customers

**Q: When i connect it to a tv, if i want connect it to a pair of speakers, do i need an amplifier?**
A: this player does not have any type of amplification, so depends on the type of speakers. If you have powered speakers with built in amps and standard phono inputs, these can be connected no problem, however if you have non powered speakers which need to be connected by speaker cable this will not work, you will need a separate amp

**Q: is this karaoke dvd player multiregion**
A: Yes  :o)

**Q: Can i connect this with usb to my smart tv? And can i just play cds through my sony soundbar vis bluetooth**
A: the MKP100 is basically a DVD Player with microphone inputs, so will connect to your TV like a normal DVD Player, so via HDMI or RCA cable. It does not have any Bluetooth functionality

**Q: Can you replay recordings from the USB?**
A: yes, recordings are saved as MP3 files, which can easily be played back directly on the machine

Good quality machine, plays discs well, but the volume on the Mike's is quite low.

Although it probably doesn’t matter the actual Kara player is of small size, the remote control is minute!! Not like a lot of other Kara players there are no buttons on the m/c, thus everything is operated ie volume, stop, play echo/delay settings are all controlled by the mini remote. Trying to use this in a Karaoke session you do need good lighting and good eyesight to action any command. Also the operating literature is vague. It doesn’t tell you how to set or change the echo setting. What you do have to do (and haven't been told) is go into a setup menu to make the remote buttons work otherwise you just get an ‘invalid key’ show up on your monitor screen. One good point is that it loads your disc or usb memory stick tracks very quickly. So good luck operating it in a live on stage session.
