**Q: Can this be used with sash locks?**
A: It will work with a Sash door lock as long as there is a suitable handle that will accommodate the u shaped top piece.

**Q: What is the pin with split ring for near the top?**
A: The pin is to hold the bar in place once you have chosen the desired measurement.

**Q: Can anyone tell me how to make the padded foot more sticky to the floor? I'm struggling to fix the foot. It seems slippery**
A: One of mine is on a tiled floor, up to the handle, it doesn't move at all.
Have expanded it enough, it should be a snug fit.

**Q: Question for solon security, do you do a door brace that will extend to 170cm? thanks.**
A: This is the only type we do, sorry.

This is such a good product and we have taken it with us to every flat we’ve moved to and it works perfectly no matter the height of the door or the flooring type. Good strong product, easy to set up, does what it says, had it for sliding patio doors as back up for peace of mind. Instructions could be more detailed, beware taking off fork off the end as if you undo screw & take off all the fitting small springs & metal balls will fly out & take some finding, with instructions not mentioning this (just says remove fitting). Did manage to work out how it fits back together, but finding the parts on the kitchen floor took ages.
