To be honest, I bought this one because I thought I had ruined the first ... I had left it out & there was crude on the blade ... So, I ordered another to replace the first. While I waited for the replacement, I took a fine sanding sponge to the blade & cleaned up the crude. The blade was as good as new! Since the price on the replacement blade was good, I decided to keep it. I cut fused glass - small pieces, often 6mm or thicker. This blade does a great job. Minimal chipping. Able to cut 1/4" slices (earrings) and larger. I have owned blades that are triple the price of this one (they are thinner with less waste) but, honestly, for the price, this one is my choice. Be sure to periodically clean the blade as you slice to keep the blade "sharp" - I use an aluminum oxide tile setters stone, purchased from desertcart.
