It uses Displaylink technology which turns the USB data of the source in to a video signal which would require your Camcorder to be compatible with such technology which I'm pretty sure it won't be. It's for getting additional monitor displays from PCs/Macs/etc. **Q: Will the slim adapter work as a third monitor output for my PC?** A: It will.
