The 1 metre version would probably weigh in at around 3kg. It's pretty chunky too. I don't know where you have on your scooter to thread the chain through. You would need at least a 6cm space. Also transporting it on a scooter could be difficult unless you have a bag or basket to carry it. NEVER carry a chain lock by wearing it around yourself. If you are involved in a crash or just a fall it increases your risk of severe spinal injuries dramatically. All that said, it's a very good chain lock. I carry mine on my ordinary bicycle wrapped around the seat post.
