This material is not heavy enough to span the grout space without eventually sinking into the space **Q: Is it hard to do the countertop edges** A: I made a puzzle table that has square 90 degrees edges. I am not sure about curved edges The square edges were easy to do. **Q: Can you use this around the sink in the bathroom? I want to update my bathroom long-term.** A: Yes! I have it on my kitchen counters and my table. I love it. It’s been 6 months and still looks good. **Q: is it better to remove the metal strip between the flat surface & the upright... or just install over it ?** A: It would be better to remove it since instant granite has an adhesive backing which can eventually pull away from that surface due to the gap between the wall (or counter) and the metal transition piece.
