This type of rash or eczema seems to occur when the skin gets dried out and then saliva gets on it. Also new foods I was told can cause it. When my daughter started to get it just a couple of spots I implemented putting the balm on her too and it went away overnight. I have also used it on diaper rash and sunburns. My kids are 10 and 13 years old now and I still keep it in supply. I just recommend it last week to a friend because I saw her son that is teething had it.
