That helped me know I could get away with using this 200W voltage transformer (for use in the USA), which is much cheaper than higher watt transformers. Not being able to read Japanese, I can't confirm by looking at the natto maker that it is actually 25W, but I have been using it successfully with this transformer for a month. I suspect it wasn't really necessary, but wanted to be safe.
