Self priming as advertised and therefore efficient in use, highly recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality for price *by S***M on 10 October 2014* Does what it says, bought this to replace old one that had broken after several years. Good quality for price. ### ⭐ Manufacturing flaw... *by J***S on 15 December 2014* Simple to assemble but there was a problem with the "out" pipe. This is "U" shaped and screws into the top of the pump body.. However when fully tightened instead of facing away from the pump it comes around too far and finishes up across the pump body which prevents the pump handle from completing a full arc. One gets about a half a turn and then clunk against the pipe. I e-mailed the supplier but received no reply. As I do not reside in the UK posting it back would cost £18.00 so not an option. I solved the prob. by using a suitable size nut to lock the pipe in the correct position plus Loctite. As a pump it is very effective. I did enquire why it was not suitable for pumping petrol but of course no reply.
