These lubricants also offer excellent resistance to foaming and enhanced cold flow characteristics. Select Motor Oils are recommended primarily for use in pre-1960’s Veteran; Edwardian; Vintage and Classic cars and commercial vehicles as well as Pioneer; Veteran; Vintage and Classic motorcycles, where a detergent free engine lubricant is preferred or specified. They may also be used in gearboxes where an engine oil is specified, care should be taken to ensure that the correct viscosity is chosen for both engine and gearbox applications. API SB
