Bought as gift for husband, it looks so nice, good quality wood & fantastic craftsmanship. Design is great for storage & taking it whilst travelling, many a good hour spent with it now. However the board is very light and is clearly made of cheap plywood (visible from within). In addition to this, the felt isn’t solid; it is movable and not hard. Despite this the pieces are well designed and feel nice and the felt tips reduce noise and increase friction. It also has a metal clip to secure it when it is closed. I didn’t realise this but there is a wierd gap between the board squares and the border which is actually visible in the photos. Other than that the set is of really high quality and looks fantastic. The only negative i have is that the inside storage (green part) isnt actually soft fabric built into the board, its more of a fabric coated fabric.
