Build quality is ok. But the zipper opens up at the bottom (opposite to the carrying handle) so be aware of the risk if you forget to zip it up and pick up from the handle and walk away. To avoid this risk, I just ordered a different laptop sleeve for my daughter. Fits well and the extra pockets are really a plus. Zipper zips from the sides downward around the bottom. Which is the opposite side of the carrying handle.
