It’s surprising how fast they grew and how easily it is to use….too easy maybe! You place the seeds in a little dirt pod and the machine does the rest. It automatically turns the growing light on and off on a set schedule. It can be very bright so don’t keep it in your bedroom or somewhere you sleep. I don’t like that I need to purchase new pods for the garden, I didn’t want to have to buy “parts”. I assume that’s the only thing other than seeds I will need to continue buying. The machine itself was surprisingly small. It is great for small spaces or as a starter garden to see if you like it. It’s good quality, functional and definitely worth the money. I planted cilantro and basil. Ideally you’d choose veggies that grow at a similar rate, because you move the lights up as they grow. You don’t want one to over shadow the other. Regardless they’re growing great and I’m excited about this garden.
