The metal snap that holds the ID badge is weak and does not stay shut. After 2 weeks of usage, the snap broke off.I have used similar products that have lasted for months before failing (not weeks).I have not used the clear plastic badge holders, so I cannot comment on their quality at this time.Update 12/8/18: I continued using my first badge holder since my purchase, but had to modify the snap to keep the ID badge on. After modification, the badge holder lasted a total of 11 months before breaking to a point that it could not be repaired. The plastic loop that connects to the snap cracked and the cord was near the end of its life.
