The Problem It Solves My 1970s-era home has its "charms," which unfortunately include a front door with a slight gap and bedroom windows that rattle on windy days. This meant a constant cold draft in the winter and a steady stream of outside noise (traffic, neighbors) all year round. Installation: A 10-Minute Project This is a DIY project for all skill levels. The process was incredibly simple: Clean: I wiped down the door jamb and window frames with rubbing alcohol to ensure a clean, dust-free surface. Measure: I measured the lengths I needed.
