He never wants to stay in bed and loves to wake with the sun. We bought this to help him remember to stay in bed all night long. It worked while it was novel for him (2 months), we used the phrase “if it’s red we stay in bed”. However, now when asked, our sassy kid says “it’s red so I came to your bed”. We have noticed that recently, the switch from the res to the green light it just bright enough that it wakes him up in his dark room. The red light is dim and give minimal arousal but the green light is significantly brighter. If you have a light sleeper i would recommend being cautious of where you place it.
