I'm giving it three stars because it is just okay; meaning it disperses filament at the right temperature and lets me reuse my remnants of other filaments from my 3D printer. I got this pen to make minor repairs to 3D models I print and to make stronger bounds between parts if needed.My main gripe is the position of the buttons to operate the pen.I guess that complaint would be followed by the poorly written and hard to read (because the font is so small in some places I needed a magnifying glass to read it).Lastly the pen is too hard to control. There seems to be no auto feed, so you have to continually press the feed button, but the feed button doesn't always want to feed and when it does it is hard to stop. Add the fact that the button to change modes is on the exact opposite side of the pen from the feed button making it almost impossible to press feed without accidentally changing the mode from low, medium to high.Then to top it all off, it clogged half way through a project.I have to wonder what genius thought placing the buttons to change mode and feed the pen at exactly the same location. I mean it doesn't take a rocket scientist to predict that some one is accidentally going to press the mode button while trying to grip the pen to press the feed.I also can't believe that China is being so cheap they refused to hire professional English speaking writers. I mean really, half the instructions make no sense (when you can read them).But, you get what you pay for. I'm shopping around for a different one as soon as I can afford it. This one will do, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dad and daughter have a great new hobby *by E***A on Reviewed in the United States on December 21, 2017* My daughter Naomi loves it! is the best gift I've bought for her, and we spent more time together creating new sculptures. The pen really works great and its so easy to use, the design template for the glasses was a blessing and the seller sent us more templates after :) also, the packaging is really good and the build quality of the pen is better than most pens I've used. Initially I bought it for my daughter but I found myself very fascinated, I really like drawing in 3d and it became easier after I saw the youtube tutorials provided by the seller. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I fortunate enough to receive a replacement for the damaged pen *by A***A on Reviewed in the United States on June 5, 2018* So I bought this a few months ago and had no issues at the start. After testing the limits and playing around with different filaments, I found one flaw. The pen never clogged, but the motor that pulls the filament in stopped for some unknown reason. Now initially I was a bit upset about the issue, but after contacting the seller, I fortunate enough to receive a replacement for the damaged pen. After using the replacement, no issues were found. Maybe I received a faulty pen but got a replacement in return.
