I have pair of sketcher Tone up thong sandals and they run a whole size larger than these do. They have exactly the same sole, however for some reason the thongs were noticeably bigger when I put them side by side. They are exactly the same shoe except for the top. I just wish Sketcher would be consistent in their sizing. Once I got the right size they were just as comfortable as my other Tone Ups. It does take a little while for them to become soft and molded to your feet. So, they will get more comfortable over time. The thing I liked about these is I can wear them all winter in the house with socks on as I don't have to worry about the thong between my toes. I have problems with heel spurs and these really help my feet. They also have a nice arch in them as well. When my feet are hurting and tired I put them on and they instantly feel better. I would highly recommend them. This model runs true to size. I usually wear a 9 and that is the size I needed. I also have trouble shopping as most stores also have hard tile or concrete floors.These sandals have been a blessing! I wear them all day long in the house and wherever else I go that is causal. No more aches and pains! I cannot say enough about how much better I feel while wearing them. I will definitely buy more.I am a perfect size 7 and bought a size 7. When I first tried them on they seemed way too tight. I could not get my foot to go all the way through them. I put them aside and tried them on again a few days later and they fit perfectly. I don't know if my feet were swollen originally, or if the sandals just needed a little stretching action but I am very happy I did not return them. If yours don't fit at first, give them another try in a day or so. These skechers tone ups proved that wrong. They actually are really really comfy. The elastisized covering keeps the shoes on firmly, without adding pressure to the top of your feet.As a bonus they actually look fairly decent - by no means is this a shoe that I would wear out at night or to work, but they are a nice looking casual shoe for the weekend and out shopping. They basically appear like an athletic sandal, and in real life the cushioned sole does not appear as out of proportion and obvious as it does in pictures.They do run half a size small. I am generally a 6.5 in sandals, and a 7 in sneakers because I wear socks (including other Skechers sneakers).
