They are just 1/2 a cm wider than the ones that came with my headphones. I was also concerned about the reviews that mentioned they are difficult to fit. Due to wear and tear, the factory fitted ones came loose from the elastic. I purchased these and they were easy to fit and work perfectly. I managed to get them on within minutes without any hassle. My headphones look good as new.
