Day 2 the up and down function to make the submarine rise or sink failed and made a noise like the gears got stuck or slipping! Day 3 the remote control unit started to go faulty, due to water getting into it, even though it says it is supposed to be water proof, and the antena tip also fell off! All in all this toy could be great but with so many faults developing in such a sort span of time it shows quality control of this product is not its prime concern!!! It goes nicely in the bath and my son is very happy with it (me too). I just have two issues with it: the remote is not waterproof. While there is a rubber join around the battery compartiment, the hole for the antenna is not protected. The other point is that the nose of the submarine need a little be more weight so that the sub stays level.
