I read about stapling them, but I was worried the staples might rust or could scratch a fish, so I hot glue a large group of various sizes together, and that’s worked pretty good. Sometimes the glued pieces break apart, buts it’s not a big issue. We get a lot of sun light and they do start to fade, but they don’t disintegrate and the fish don’t seem to chew on them, and the frogs like sitting on them. These leaves have kept the fish safe from the blue heron, so we think they’re worth every penny!
