Sometimes Zero. I got the Verizon JetPack and this. My coverage is now 2 bars. I can even stream, and all seems well. I simply hung it up on window, and it worked right away. I'm not sure how it compares to others. Perhaps the more expensive ones are better, but to be able to simply stick it to a window and have it work, is pretty cool.
