Definitely smells somewhat "Christmasy", as a result of the evergreen. It is a little smaller than I expected but still a quality candle that burns evenly with a good wick. I probably won't order it again, however. I will probably try a different/more unique scent. The longer you burn it, you start to get more of the ocean scent. It's a very fresh scent that comes through better after you clean the house. You wouldn't want a dusty house to interfere with this scent.
