It has been my favorite hair clip and the best one I have ever owned by far in comparison to all others. It has been durable while others have easily broken by the spring or it’s teeth. The curved style of the clip sits better on your hair since it follows the curve of your head. This may not make a difference if you have a lot of hair or thick hair but for me that has fine medium length hair, it hugs the hair tight and stays put. I would imagine that the tension would work just as well for thicker hair. I have since been looking for this same clip in stores and online and it has been hard to find so when I saw it here, I was beyond ecstatic! The clip was delivered intact and it is same quality like the one I already have so now I can be confident in buying a few more. The only thing that I was really disappointed with was that the clip as pictured and in the description says it is brown/black in color just like the one I have but when I received it, the clip was a solid black in color. This is why I did not give it 5 stars. Although I was okay with it, it is not as pretty as the brown/black clip that I wanted which compliments brunettes better than the solid black color. I wish I could get the brown/ black one! Other than this, it is an excellent hair clip! Based on the reviews I thought I’d give this clip a shot. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work for me. Although the grip is tighter than almost any other hair clip I’ve used, the shape of it was not ideal. It protrudes too much to wear while driving or sit anywhere there is a headrest, such as the movie theater. I found it pulled on hair too much when I turned my head even slightly.If the design was wider with a lower profile, this would work better for me.
