I love candy and am very forgiving when it comes to old candy but I had to throw these out. Not worth returning for the price especially when the first bag was shipped opened. I assumed those smelled bad because they had been left opened but the second bag was just as bad. They were old, stale, smelled and were brittle. Not eatable :( . Maybe if this wasn’t a replacement I would have returned but since they were I didn’t have the heart to return the replacement. Don’t bother with these, by the time you receive them they’ll be expired. (I never base anything on best by dates, but if it’s approaching that date it means they were super old since most have 2-3 year shelf life. Don’t buy these Those aren’t chamoy sugar crystals… those are crystals from them being old.
