I had tried the black beans from this brand (delicious!!) and had high hopes for these- and I wasn't disappointed. Like the refried black beans, they'll be perfect for a wide range of uses- bean dips, refried beans, huevos rancheros, enchiladas/tacos/burritos, etc. And, with some broth and spices added, a quick bean soup. I love that the pouch has just enough for 1-2 servings, and it doesn't impart weird flavors like I've encountered w/cans.
