Review: Great Mirrors for my ‘81 CJ - I have a 1981 CJ-5 and these mirrors fit, even though they said they wouldn’t. I had to slightly trim the bottom of the A Pillar rain gutters, but that was easy to do. So installation wasn’t that difficult, especially with the included hardware which included two different size Allen bolts. I haven’t driven with them yet, but they seem strong and hopefully they won’t move. The mirrors are much better looking than stock and appear stronger. The convex shape of the mirrors gives a wider field of view over stock. Plus they were a great price!

I have a 1981 CJ-5 and these mirrors fit, even though they said they wouldn’t. I had to slightly trim the bottom of the A Pillar rain gutters, but that was easy to do. They look great and install easily, would buy again. However, I had to grind off material on the bottom in order to remove and replace my doors (03 TJ). Otherwise I had to remove the bottom screw and rotate the mirrors. Recommend.
