I am so used to cheap Walmart knives that I wasn’t sure what to expect. The immediate look of the knife was subtle, not overly shined or polished, which indicated right away that these were authentic tools for slicing up some serious meat. After giving one a quick rinse off, I cooked a steak and put it to the test. The absolute best aspect of the knife is the size, followed by balance and sharpness. The knife feels just right in the hand and therefore makes cutting into a steak a simple task. I love my new knives and look forward to using them for years to come. ### ⭐⭐ Decent blades with astonishingly horrible handles *by G***E on Reviewed in the United States on April 1, 2019* The blade on these seem perfectly fine - nice actually. But the handle, oh my god. All four of them had big gaps between the metal and the wood with a very abrasive edge on the metal. The pictures don't do it justice, but they all felt like there were tiny saw blades embedded in the front and back of the handles.I pondered returning them, but ended up sanding them all down with a dremel since I didn't see other options for inexpensive steak knives without serrated blades. They felt much more comfortable after that despite there still being a noticeable gap in the handles.
