The grass looks really bright and BOOM on the pictures, but in real life its a nice normal calm grass color, the grass is a good size, and its a great size! The quality of this product is great, and the size is decent, even if the price is not. The one problem I have encountered is the height of the grass blades, which make for an uneven surface. For larger toys, this is fine, but smaller toys cannot stand upright. As pictured, I am using this primarily for toys the size of calico critters, so I had to use a hair trimmer to flatten things out.
