They also seem very sturdy even though I have not installed the legs yet. What I am most disappointed in is the color! I dont know if I just got a bad batch of dye on the fabric but mine are like this really ugly greenish gray. The fabric in some spots is like large woven areas, not linen (small weaving). They do not look at all the same color as the photo or other customer photos. Am working on a return with Simpli Home and will update my review as their customer service gets back to me.Edit:: Its a 20% restocking fee and return shipping is not covered. Super annoying. I wouldn’t recommend buying from this seller at all. Try Target or Walmart so you can take advantage of their return policy. I thought it was going to be smaller than expected and not good quality. I was wrong. It's a great size and so nice! The small ones were packed inside the large one. The only assembly is you just have to attach the legs to each of them. The material is good and seems like it will hold up/wear well. The mechanics inside are good and quiet. These go great in my new bedroom and give me lots of extra storage. I would not sit on any of these pieces regularly or for prolonged periods of time. But, that's not what I imagine anyone would expect from them. They work perfectly as footrest or storage ottomans. They come packaged nicely and put together in minutes without tools. They appear solidly constructed and have more weight than I imagined. The grey colour matches my folding Cost Plus sofa almost perfectly. The storage space in even the smaller pieces is spacious enough for a basket of remotes and game controllers or a small blanket without compromising the solidity of their side-walls. The larger 'bench' has ample storage space for several blankets and pillows. As a footrest, the padding is sufficient. It is foam wich does not look like it could take a lot of punishment, however, though very firm, it is ample enough to be comfortable on one's ankles.
