I have used it on oatmeal , baked sweet potatoes and butternut squash among other things. Take care when squeezing the container as a little extra pressure is needed to get flow and then it comes out rather quickly. Date syrup is highly caloric, so if you are watching calories be careful with amount. However, it contains vitamins and minerals that sugar does not. I find it sweet but not cloying. I would buy this again.
