I don't know, are we supposed to use the stems as well? I love teas and have had many, and this seems more like a good way to make use of the whole plant, and I'd go 4 stars if there were less stems. The flavor is unique, and very subliminal, it takes awhile to steep the stems/leaves and even then it's not very flavorful. Adding Honey does bring out the sweetness and fruitiness a touch, not much though. It's a good size bag in decent packaging, but it is hard to reseal, and it'd just be easier if there weren't so many stems. How else do you fit it in a tea bag or ball without doing all the harvesting work? If my dealer gave me this I'd deny it. If you let it in too long, while I don't find it bitter, it develops a more earthy and nutty flavor, especially compared to other natural teas like guava leaf tea. It is very similar to pasiflora tea but while pasiflora has some prominent natural taste, this seems to be also a milder form of it.Overall, if you are looking for this tea because of you think papaya would be sweet, I would look towards guava tea. I brewed just the leaves.It still has a sort of "tanic" flavor like grape leaves or perhaps horseradish leaves, except a little bit more fruity.I normally drink crazy strong tea, but that's with milk/sweetener.
