I didn't start with a green theme, but it evolved that way over time and these pens were partly responsible. They feel great in your hands! The surface is a grippy rubberized velvety texture that feels wonderful to hold and write with. I like texture, and somthing about this specific texture makes my brain happy. I find myself absent-mindedly rubbing my fingers along the surface of the pens, almost like a fidget or a less rough calm strip. The button to extend and retract the writing nib is satisfying because it gives a nice click. I also enjoy the gold clip accent because it elevates the look of the pens to give a more elegant and professional appearance. The pen itself writes beautifully. I find the writing somewhat reminiscent of the old pilot pens. It writes with a thin black like and I haven't had on run out yet, despite using them for several months. I don't know how easy to find or replace the refills might be yet, but so far they have lasted a long time. Overall they are beautiful, wonderful to write with, and great quality pens.
