The weight of the shower head was light enough for me to pull out of the cradle and easily functioned with it. There was no smelly plastic covering over the hose, which was much longer and NOT stiff. The water pressure was amazing!! Remember, I personally removed this restrictor. It was easy with the proper tool—like sharp “close snips”. Perfect to grab that thing and pull it out. To begin with in order to switch to the power wash feature on the back of the shower head you have to push the switch on the top of the head to the side. It's extremely difficult to push it to the side, but when you do get in in the on position, it works wonderfully.
