## Description

The non-stick Saute pan we designed hopes to meet the needs of all families and reduce unnecessary types of pots and pans in the kitchen. We have deepened the wall of the skillet so that it has the functions of a frying pan and a saute pan at the same time. The size of 10 inches/3Qt let you easily cook for the whole family. In order to realize the possibility of completing multiple dishes with one pan in a short time, we have introduced German non-stick technology to make this pan have good non-stick performance and super easy to clean. The induction bottom and the gas-saving fire ring at the bottom are designed for different applicability of the stove. At the same time, we added a heat indicator on the bakelite handle so that the novice kitchen can know when the best time to put the ingredients into the skillets. Both sides of the nonstick pan are designed with pouring ports, no matter if you are left-handed or right-handed, you can easily pour the soup into the container. The silicone-coated pot cover is not easy to damage the coating.

Review: I really like this pan. Be sure to "season" it as directed and it is truly nonstick. No oil or spray necessary once it's seasoned. It cooks evenly, seems durable but it already has a scratch on the bottom and I'm very careful to use wooden utensils so not really scratch resistant.

**Q: The description says it's "free of all toxins," but doesn't specifically list ptfe. is this ptfe free?**
A: No this pan is NOT ptfe free. This Vinchef pan is coated with GREBLON c3+ which is a highly efficient PTFE (Teflon) coating with ceramic reinforcement. It is applied in spray form and cured for 10 minutes at 400 C. It is however PFOA and APEO free. As far as the certificate of analysis, this is FDA food contact test and PTFE (Teflon) is FDA food grade compliant.

**Q: Is this also free of lead, mercury, cadmium and other metals deemed problematic for health?**
A: Yes.  This is a great pan-I use it almost every day for cooking.  The important thing to remember when using a non-stick pan is NOT to use too high of heat.  A temperature of 500 degrees F or higher will cause the nonstick coating to break down.  I wouldn't hesitate to buy another pan like this one.

**Q: Can you use metal spatula, cooking utensils etc in pans?**
A: Dear Customer, please don't use metal utensils.

**Q: Does anyone know the diameter of the bottom that contacts the stove?**
A: There is a slightly raised silver circle on the bottom of the pan that doesn't go quite to the edge of the pan.  It is 8".  If you measure beyond that, to the actual edge of the pan, it is 9".  The inside of the top of the pan is 11" but at the bottom it is only 9".  It is 3" deep though so it can hold quite a bit.
