Budgies create a lot of feather dust which can leave rooms feeling dusty and stuffy. Within a few hours of turning it on, there was a massive difference in the air quality in the room. It felt like I’d had a stuffy nose for years without realising and could suddenly breathe. It was amazing. The air feels so much cleaner and nicer in here now. Even with the windows closed, it’s fresh as if I’d recently had a window open. It reduces the humidity in the room a bit but not too much (budgies need some humidity). It also cools the room down a little bit, which I’ve found helpful during summer but may be a downside during winter. It’s a nice design, lightweight, easy to replace the filter. Very good value for how well it works. I am blown away by this air purifier and will never be without one again, especially while keeping birds. I’m now looking to get a larger one for my open-plan downstairs. Easy to use and easy to replace filter. Over 1 year of occasional / regular use, the filter speaks for itself. We notice a difference when the filter has been running. Only feature missing to make it 5/5 is a timer - this means you have to remember to turn it on / off.
