In case you no longer have your instruction pamphlet, here are the instructions in simplest terms without images: We recommend if the mycelium around the original X incision seems to be dried and crusted, simply tape over it and flip your mycelium block and start over on the back side of your block. Then you will start from step 1 again, just like when you first got your kit. Cut an X, soak your substrate, and mist regularly. You should be able to get a couple more fruits in just make sure they get another round of soaking in! After their first fruit, they are probably pretty dried out. We ordered three mushroom kits from three companies. We started them at the same time. They are all in the same spot, with the same spraying time, air flow, and light. These are the only that did not sprout. One kit is on its second round, and this one has not even a tiny pin mushroom. The set-up looked the most thorough- a tent, nice glass bottle, clear instructions.
